Short course Triathlon Coaching from efficient endurance
A welcoming partnership to get you across your first finish line safely and comfortably.
Targeting a Sprint or Standard distance triathlon requires a specific balance in your training. Whether you are stepping up to your very first Olympic distance event or looking to feel more comfortable and organized in a Sprint race, managing the distinct demands of these formats can often feel like guesswork. Juggling swimming, cycling, and running around your everyday life without a clear framework can leave you feeling scattered—unsure if you are balancing your efforts correctly or simply doing random, exhausting workouts that leave you tired on race day.
Efficient Endurance removes that uncertainty.
We replace the isolation of self-guided training with a supportive, personal partnership and a realistic structure that fits seamlessly around your personal life and commitments. Through consistent contact, we help you understand how to pace your efforts effectively, navigate transitions smoothly, and build genuine confidence across all three disciplines. You don’t have to figure it out alone; we work side-by-side so you can show up to your race feeling calm, healthy, and ready to enjoy the day.
the hurdles of short course training
Many athletes training for Sprint and Standard distances fall into the trap of turning every workout into a race, thinking that constant exhaustion equals progress. Without a clear framework to balance your efforts, short-course preparation can quickly lead to:
Scattered Training: Trying to fit in swims, rides, and runs without a clear structure, making your week feel chaotic and leaving you too tired to get the real benefit from your key workouts.
Race-Day Pacing Anxiety: Worrying that you will blow up early on the swim or bike leg, or carrying the dread of how heavy your legs will feel during the quick transition to the run.
The High-Intensity Trap: Pushing too hard in every single session because the distances are shorter. This constant hammering leaves you carrying deep fatigue and minor aches rather than building real, repeatable fitness.
Constant Second-Guessing: Wondering if your training sessions are actually enough to get you through the Standard distance comfortably, or navigating the multi-sport puzzle without an objective coach to verify your progress.

How we prepare for your race - together
Efficient Endurance is about working together to make your Sprint or Standard distance preparation a balanced, rewarding experience. We combine targeted multi-sport training with your daily routine and personal commitments. By checking in constantly and making decisions as a team, we remove the guesswork from short-course training, allowing you to stand on the start line feeling healthy, relaxed, and fully prepared.
How We Work Together
Structuring Your Preparation: We break the weeks ahead into manageable blocks, moving from foundational fitness to event specific sessions. We design this layout together so the training always feels practical and realistic around what you need.
Building Your Weekly Plan: Your workouts are planned directly in TrainingPeaks based on the actual hours you have available. We help establish your individual pacing zones together, adjusting the sessions based on how your body responds and how your week unfolds.
Consistent, Personal Support: We manage your training side-by-side through regular WhatsApp updates and a formal weekly review. If a busy week throws you off or you feel unusually tired, we adapt the schedule together so you never have to guess how to adjust a key session.
Tracking Your Progress: We look at your training data and personal feedback together to track your fitness gains. This supportive review helps you understand your pacing, master efficient transitions, and provides clear proof that you are ready for race day.
